The York, Harrogate and Leeds Excursion
It has become almost familiar territory for 50s on
tour now, not only the destinations but also the high speed run down the
ECML on the return leg. This Pathfinder train ran on 29th November 2003
which proved to be the wettest kind of day. The route was from Swindon
via Bristol, Birmingham, Chesterfield and York, and thence to
Harrogate and Leeds.
