During 2007 there has been very little class 50 action
on the SVR, partly because the locos have been away under repair and on
mainline duties but also due to the limited length of the railway
available for use due to flood damage.  However
over the 12-13th October 2007 a diesel operating weekend was held. 50049
flew the flag for the C50A fleet.
