Severn Valley Operations 2003

!960's Gala

Every year the SVR operate a 1960's gala featuring locomotives operational in that period. This allows most of the railway's extensive fleet of both steam and diesel locos a run out.

On 22nd February 2003, 50035 was paired with a pannier tank for most of the day's operations. Seen here departing Bewdley.

2003 Diesel Gala
Amongst the visiting locos for the gala were two EWS 56s and the CFPS' 40145 and 40135. Awaiting their next turns 50031 stands beside fellow English Electric type 4 40145.
