Main Line Operations

November 1997 saw the first preserved class 50 run on Railtrack metals, the honors fell to 50031 and Past Time Railtours' the Pilgrim Hoover. Since then many additional special services and even service trains have seen Hood and more recently D444 earning their keep visiting destinations as diverse as York, Wales and the West Country of England.
