Filming Special

The BBC requested 50031 and 50049 to appear in a 1970's period drama to be premiered in Early 2004. The other star of the show is James Nesbitt.  

The filming took place in and around Westbury station on 24th September 2003. Where platform, departure and arrival scenes were shot. 

Here '31 waits in the yard for the next run into the station.

On the previous day the stock had been sent as 1Z50 from Old Oak Common to Westbury. This shot was taken in the Maidenhead area.
