Please note that this is a major increase in the use of the diesel fleet
by the Severn Valley Railway. Please support the running of diesel locomotives
on these dates so that the railway management can be persuaded to continue with
it in future years.

that locos may be swapped at short notice. For up to date information, please

2009 Severn Valley Railway Diesel Gala
The 2008 Diesel Gala was a great success with more than 2000
enthusiasts visiting the railway over the three day event. The 2009 Gala will
take place on the 8, 9 and 10th October 2009, a wide range of locos are planned
and more details will be published here in due course.
