The Edinburgh Explorer 2
The return of double-headed working on our railtours
began on 19th November 2011 with Spitfire Tours Edinburgh Explorer 2. This
trip started in Preston, crossed the Pennines to York and then up the ECML
to Edinburgh. A mini-tour round the Fife circle was also included that ran
to and from Waverley via the suburban lines.
