Railway, run footplate experience courses on selected dates throughout the year.
This
years course includes approximately seven and a half miles of driving with a train of
coaching stock. In addition it is now possible to extend the standard course to drive the
whole sixteen mile length of the Railway. For more details contact the Severn

2008 dates: After a year off to allow the damage caused by
the floods of June 2007 to be repaired new dates for driving experience
courses in 2008 have been announced.
Courses are available on the following dates: May 27th, 28th and
29th. June 30th. July 28th. August 13th, 20th and 27th.

On 7th July 2000 Defiance stood in for 50031 on the driver experience
course duty. At Bridgnorth we took the opportunity to capture the group
