The Alton Observer
 Pathfinder's
Alton Observer was run in conjunction with the RCTS. The train carried
enthusiasts for the Watercress Line and day trippers to
Winchester. 50031 and 50049 provided motive power from
Sheffield to Victoria via the recently resignalled Bedford to Bletchley
route and back from Alresford to Sheffield.
50031 and 50049 wait for the complete complement of
crew against the famous wall at Sheffield Midland.
