Old Oak Common Open Weekend 2000

The major event of 2000? Possibly. It had the largest line up of class 50s since withdrawl, and we believe the first time that all first built English Electric production locomotives (D200, 50050 (D400), D6700, D8000, and D9000) were displayed together at one event, and possibly the first time they have ever been together in one place (does anyone know different?).

50031, 50035 and 50149 were both positioned inside "The Factory" with 50007 positioned just outside.

Barton Hill 2001

While 50031 was on its way to Carlisle with the Galloway Princess 50035 was in the limelight at Bristol Barton Hill as part of a mini exhibition for the retirement of a senior member of the local railway staff.
